There's still time to register for our upcoming tour of the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum. Currently on display are pages from the Gutenberg Bible, considered to be the most precious piece of printing in the world.

Special Recognition




The Library's very own Becca Bacon and Lisa Powell-Williams were recognized by City Administrator Lisa Kotter as  City of Moline Employee(s) of the Quarter for their teamwork in developing the Next Chapter Book Club  The award was in recognition of a partnership with ARC of the Quad Cities that offers a book club adapted to the needs of community members receiving services at the ARC.  The  Moline Public Library also received the ARC of the Quad Cities 2019 Community Actions Award. Congratulations, ladies!

Travelling Exhibit from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History

The Moline Public Library will partner with United Way of the Quad Cities and serve as a collection sight for donations of personal hygiene items for students at Moline High School.  Items requested include shampoo, body wash, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, bar soap, body lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
