There is also a category called Great Courses, which offers educational opportunities such as learning how to speak a new language, how to draw, how to train your dog, how to cook, how to play piano, and so on! There are also courses in history, art, global studies, and science.
Kanopy Kids is also available! Kanopy Kids is a collection of movies and tv shows for kids, accessible through Kanopy, with unlimited viewing! Four Play Credits are allotted to each account every month! Play Credits are used to play the videos in Kanopy. Each video will use one play credit. Once you press play on a video and a play credit has been used, the movie will be available for unlimited viewing for three days. Play credits will reset back to four on the first of every month! Kanopy Kids is a little different. Videos on Kanopy Kids are available for unlimited viewing so Play Credits are not required. Also, four additional credits are available each month for viewing any of the Great Courses.
2021 Annual Quilt Show
Over twenty magnificent quilts are keeping the Cheboygan Area Public Library toasty and warm this March! And each quilt tells its own story!

These stunning creations are on loan from community members who were willing to share the fruits of their hard work as well as the inspiration and creativity they invested into each quilt!

The quilt collection varies in size, shape, and story! From a king sized “Botanica Park” quilt to a pastel “chasing rainbows” baby throw; from a “postage stamp” quilt given as a Christmas gift in the early ‘90s, to a “Sunbonnet Sue” pattern, which was popularized during the great depression, and has since been passed on to the grandson of the quilter.
These amazing quilts will be on display through the month of March throughout the Main Library! Anyone interested in viewing them is encouraged to stop by anytime Monday through Saturday during Library hours!

Take & Make Kits: Kids & Teens
Do your kiddos need a project? Check out the Cheboygan Area Public Library's Take & Make Kits!

All kits are free! Kits are designed for around ages four to twelve and are available to anyone interested!

“Take-Home for Teens” kits are also available! These kits are great for any teen or tween who wants a small and fun project to do!

New kits are available on Mondays but they can be picked up anytime during the week.

These project kits are all free and we try to put all the supplies (or as much as we can) together with the project so it is ready to go!

The projects will be available on a first come first served basis.
