"Befriending My Imperfect Self"

A look at the trials and tribulations of figuring out that I am not perfect, I have never been perfect and I never will be ~ nor will you be!

That's the good news and the not so bad news, as we embrace our imperfections en route to discovering profound possibilities and extraordinary opportunities.

"As a longtime Science of Mind student, Rosemary has been a member of our Center since its days as "Religious Science of Nashville." She served on the Board of RSN when the Charlotte Pike building was purchased. She enjoys a diverse private practice including Astrology and healing protocols such as hypnosis, Reiki Healing, EFT, and Stress Management. As the President of and Minister Director with the Universal Brotherhood Movement, she has Ordained a number of our own CSLN members as fully licensed Ministers.

Rosemary is a prolific writer and has authored a number of articles and booklets about the daily miracles of life. She is currently working on the final edits of her newest book, "Looking For My Good Face: A Journey of Discovery". She is deeply honored to be a part of the speaker team at CSLN."

Awarded “Best Solo Pianist” and “Best Spiritual Artist” by Songwriter’s Showcase of America, four time Empower Music & Arts finalist, Lisa Firestone weaves her classical piano roots with heart-opening themes. Since finding home in new thought, she has worked consistently as a Music Director for over two decades in both Unity and CSL churches in Orlando and Music City.

Today, in addition to music, Lisa offers Transformation Life coaching, and facilitates nonviolent communication trainings, with her partner Beth, for their company, NVC Tennessee.

Child & Youth Services 11:10 AM - 1:10 PM

We have a wonderful child and family team who are eager to provide services for children (ages 2-12) from 11:10 am - 1:10 pm. You can drop your child off and have time to attend our meditation services before the Sunday service. We are not equipped to provide infant services, but we will find a quiet space if needed for little ones and their caregiver.

Please join us for meditation! Our meditation room is to the left of the front doors. We will have greeters to show you the way!

Online Service Chat Box Volunteers Needed

CSLN is looking for a few volunteers from our online community to moderate the YouTube chat box on Sunday mornings. This is a great opportunity for our members who prefer watching our service online to get involved and help our online viewers connect. You'll be provided some tools to get you started and can volunteer for as many Sundays per month as you like. Contact Rekell at admin@cslnashville.org if you are interested.

Hospitality Volunteers Needed

Our hospitality hostess requests assistance in setting up for hospitality at 11:45am and cleaning up around 1:45pm. Please see Susan Primm if you can volunteer on the hospitality team.

Additionally, we kindly request that each individual clean up after themselves and push their chair up to the table upon finishing their refreshments. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Together, we can ensure that our post-service hospitality thrives every Sunday.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life!

Join Practitioner David Arnholter for a certified Introduction to the Science of Mind and Centers for Spiritual Living! This is the perfect class for anyone who is new to our Center and Science of Mind or anyone who wants a refresher. You will learn how to put our teaching into practice and have fun connecting with other people while doing it!

The class will be held on Tuesday evenings beginning on July 9th by Zoom, 6:30pm to 8pm. The cost is only $60 for the 6-week class. This class counts toward the Foundations pre-requisite for anyone considering becoming a CSL Practitioner.

A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose

Rev. Denise Yeargin requests you join her in studying and discussing Eckhart Tolle’s enlightened book: “A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose.”

In his best selling sequel to the spiritual guide, The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle expands on his life changing ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the World. Rev Denise will lead us in exploring how our attachment to the ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and learn how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence. We will meet via Zoom starting Thursday evening August 1st from 6:30pm to 8pm for 5 weeks. The cost is $100 for this non-certified class. Practitioners and staff ½ off.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

I know that there is only One Joy, One Spirit, One Love. I am one with Joy. I am one with Spirit. I am one with Love.  I know this fully and completely!

A healing Power is flowing in and through me now. Every organ of my body, every thought in my mind, every function of my body is healed by this Power completely.  There is no fear, no doubt and no uncertainty in my mind. The love of Spirit expressing in and through me, directs me, protects me and guides me every step of my life.

And I know this same healing Power is flowing through our beloved Center and that the perfect new home and the perfect new minister for our Community have already been drawn to us in Love.

I give thanks for Spirit expressing in my Life. I give thanks for the Science of Mind teaching. I give thanks for the vibrant, loving, abundant Community of CSL Nashville.

Accepting “Love Expressing” as my life experience, I release my word into the Universal Law of Mind, which always says YES! knowing it has already made all of this or something even better, so.

And so it is.
