| | Sharing the Hope of Easter | | |
The joy of Easter reminds us that Christ’s Resurrection brings hope and new life to the world. As Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 1:3:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
This living hope inspires the work of Livingston County Catholic Charities each day. By serving neighbors in need—supporting families, seniors, and those seeking care—the agency seeks to share Christ’s love in practical ways.
During the Easter season, Catholics are reminded that faith is lived through action. Acts of kindness, generosity, and charitable giving are ways we share the hope of the Resurrection with others. When we serve those who are struggling, we become instruments of Christ’s compassion in the world.
