Basketball Fundraiser was a SLAM DUNK!

What an exciting game! The Special Ministries team took on the Livingston County Sheriff's Office in their annual basketball showdown, and it was a great one! Special Ministries came out on top with a solid victory, finishing 53-30.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support, and to both teams for showing great sportsmanship and spirit! Nearly $8,000 was raised to support the programming of Special Ministries! We can't wait for next year's game!

Project Rachel Provides Healing

Project Rachel is open to people of all faiths who have been involved in abortion. It is a diocesan-based network of specially trained priests, religious, counselors, and laypersons who provide a team response of care for those suffering in the aftermath of abortion. In addition to referring for Sacramental Reconciliation, the ministry provides an integrated network of services, including pastoral counseling, support groups, retreats and referrals to licensed mental health professionals.

Helping Seniors Live Safely and Indepentently

Nearly 1/3 of all seniors live by themselves, that is nearly 14 million seniors aging alone.

"Paul was very courteous and extremely helpful. He fixed a few things that had been problems for a long time. I am on a very tight fixed income and the help was very much appreciated. Thank you for all that you do to help us seniors."

LCCC is here to help them with our Home Injury Control and Chore program! This program will fill a vital need in the community providing seniors with home adaptations to reduce the risk of injury as well as various household maintenance tasks! If you know a senior that is in need of some support please contact LCCC at (517) 545-5944. Learn More.
