Numerous studies point to high school graduation and having basic job skills as the critical first steps to breaking the cycle of poverty in the United States. Cy-Hope's Providing Opportunities Program (POP) helps students graduate high school college or career ready regardless of their socioeconomic status, creating lasting change for them and their families. Grab your sunglasses and read on to learn more about how you can help us make sure our students graduate from high school ready for college and careers to keep their futures bright!
One of our POP recipients explains: “This help meant so much to my parents. They were so upset that I wasn’t going to be able to take dual credit classes because we simply couldn’t afford them. Cy-Hope lifted that burden off of their shoulders. These courses have been very helpful. I have completed some core classes for college and have many credits. I feel well prepared for college and have learned that I must work harder.” Read more about how POP helps all students have access to college and career readiness.
Cy-Hope has provided $607,859 in POP assistance to 12,140 students since starting this program in 2012. We have plans to expand this program to Waller ISD as our community continues to grow.

Several of our students became the first in their families to attend college. Two student groups created video thank you's to let us know the difference our assistance made for them and their families. Click on the Learn more button to watch these videos.
