Stay tuned for more details about Clear the Shelters at ERAF throughout the month of August.
Other ways to help our horses!
Now more than ever, we need your support!
Our GoFundMe for our emergency hay & feed fund has surpassed $8000 of our $50,000 goal. Thank you so very much to all who have donated or shared. We encourage you to keep sharing with your friends on social media. Hay and feed are among our largest expenses within the rescue. Every bit helps and we are grateful to all who have donated to assist us with off-setting these costs.
A great big thank you to Horizon Distributors/Stuart or donating this Exmark Commercial Mower to us for raffle! You can get your raffle tickets at their location, or at Horse Cents in Palm City
or by contacting Ann at
(407) 463-7749. All proceeds benefit our rescue horses
Despite the challenges of COVID-19, we are so pleased to have facilitated 19 adoptions so far this year! Congratulations to Gucci, Blake, Nalla, Missy, Fancy Baby, Luigi the mini donkey, Leia, Lola, Felix, Caesar, Hallie, Dolly,
Nina, D'or, Johnny, Leah, Ginny, Miami Cat, and Gladiator. And thank you to our wonderful adopters!
New Arrivals!
We've also welcomed quite a few new horses including several off-the-track-thoroughbreds including Hero of the Future, Smitten for Smitty, and Friesing Waters along with a Florida Cracker Horse named Eve, a pony named Rowan, and Bonnie, a very sweet Quarter Horse. Our rescue horses are available for adoption, foster, and sponsorship.
On we go!
ERAF is celebrating 20 years in horse rescue this year and we have to say...2020 is not exactly what we anticipated! Yet we persevere. We are tremendously grateful for the extraordinary leadership of our Barn Manager, Nancy Dunn, and our dedicated staff, and volunteers. No matter the challenge, they have all stepped up and delivered the very best in equine care without missing a beat. We are also incredibly thankful to our many donors, sponsors, and foundations for providing much-needed financial support during this difficult time. Among them are Brennan Equine Welfare Fund, EQUUS, and Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance.
We cannot do what we do without you! Thank you for your support!
