Civil Service law requires that candidates for most New York City jobs take and pass a competitive civil service exam before they can be hired to become permanent employees. These exams assess a candidate’s qualifications for a particular Civil Service title. Before applying for an exam, you should conduct a thorough review of the official Notice of Examination (NOE), which describes the duties of the job and provides the qualification requirements, test description, filing period, expected exam date(s) and other relevant information about the exam. Executives on Campus - 2020-2021 Academic Year-Long Mentoring Program | Apply by 9/2

The program connects Baruch students with professionals who help them develop their networking, interviewing, and other business etiquette skills to make them competitive in today's job market. EOC mentors are experienced executives (including many Baruch alumni) who volunteer their time to support, counsel, and serve as role models for mentees, including helping them define and achieve their career goals.
