2025 One Howard Street Mural RFP - Submission Deadline: April 4, 2025
​Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) invites artists to submit proposals for two new murals on Howard Street. We're looking for impactful, public art pieces that celebrate the history, culture, and diversity of the corridor.
Artists are encouraged to incorporate the One Howard Street brand and create pieces that engage the community.
This mural project is made possible by the Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA), the City of Evanston, and the generous support of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

2025 One Howard Street Intersection Art RFP​
Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) invites artists or firms to submit proposals for these intersections above on Howard Street. One is located at Howard & Paulina. The other at Howard/Rogers/Greenview.
Designs are encouraged to be an impactful public art piece for the Howard Street community to enjoy that also contributes to pedestrian safety and traffic calming while incorporating the Howard Street brand.

Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival Artisan Application

The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) is a much-anticipated annual tradition in the Rogers Park neighborhood, showcasing the work of over 130 artists and more than two dozen music and dance performances, as well as live arts demonstrations, an activities area for kids, and open studios. Attendees can browse and buy artwork from over 130 local and visiting artists spanning all genres, from traditional woodworking and ceramics to digital drawing and avant-garde mixed media.

In the 49th Ward, the 24th District patrols nine Beats. Each patrol Beat in the Chicago Police Department hosts monthly or bi-monthly community Beat meetings. The primary purpose of the Beat community meetings is to allow Beat residents, other community stakeholders and police to discuss chronic problems on the Beat and to engage in problem-solving. Beat community meetings provide an opportunity for police and community residents to exchange information about conditions in the neighborhood.
