Hello, Spring!
Winter has been trying to hold on in southeast Pennsylvania, but spring arrived on March 20 and there are already signs of the new season in the Subarashii Kudamono orchards. Leaf buds are beginning to swell and open and delicate white flower blossoms will soon cover those skeletal tree branches instead of late-season snow!

Speaking of Pears:
Did you know you can re-constitute dried Asian Pears? Soak just a few minutes in warm water for a softer, less chewy texture that's a great addition in salads.
