This week's prayer is offered by
Dr. Trisha J. Baker
Founder/CEO, FOCUSED Ministries, Inc.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Father, thank You for this opportunity to pray. In this season of Thanksgiving, thank You for giving Your Son to save the world from sin. Sin that separates us from You. You wish that all men, women, and children would be saved (1st Tim. 2:4) and come to know You. The hope and joy that comes in knowing You, Lord, is immeasurable. It is my prayer that all who read this today and in the coming days would have an experience with You that changes their life.
Thank You for our readers who, each week, take time to pray with us. You said that men ought always to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1), so we pray. We won’t get tired but we will pray. Every young person You’ve placed in our path, we are so thankful for them. Thank You for allowing the parents to entrust their precious ones into our hands and be a part of their story. Those who have crossed us in the past, those who are now in our present, and those who will be in our future – You’ve called them to be a part of Your plan and design so help us at FOCUSED Ministries to be a tool to direct them towards You. Father, You said in the last days, You will pour out Your Spirit on all people and when You do, Your sons and daughters will prophesy (Acts 2:17 NIV). Pour out Your Spirit today upon all people, in Jesus’ name.
To the FOCUSED Fam:
Let us give thanks throughout this Thanksgiving season. I pray you are blessed with the memory of your time with family and friends. I pray you are blessed with good food and good fun. And I pray that His presence be with you, in Jesus’ name, amen.
