Running Closed Loop Steppers
in a Multi-Axis System with Just I/O
In this video we feature closed loop steppers running asynchronously simply by using I/O. Each motor has its own controller, and a master send I/O to each in a sequence of steps.
Since we are running closed loop, the motion is smooth, and accurate, and the controls and be located in a compact fashion at a low cost point. All motors and controls here are from Nanotec. We also have options for CANopen and EtherCAT.
