Volume 18
December 2019
Greetings,
MFMP For Vendors is a quarterly communication created to keep you up-to-date on recent news from MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP)!
MFMP Training is Coming to a City Near You!
MFMP U will be offering live training, delivered locally in South Florida, Central Florida, and Northwest Florida in the upcoming months.

If you're in an area where training will be conducted, be on the lookout for email invitations in the coming months. Space is limited at these fun and informative events so also keep a close eye on the MFMP U Vendor Training Registration Calendar.
Make a List and Check it Twice...
Check: Your Commodity Codes
Ensure your business is properly identified for bid opportunities by confirming the commodity codes you've selected accurately represent the products and services you offer.

On Dec. 19, 2019, over 600 new commodity codes will be available in MFMP . Check out the "Current History of Code Changes" list on the MFMP Commodity Code  webpage to view the full list of new commodity codes and add any new applicable code(s) to your MFMP  Vendor Information Portal (VIP)  profile.

To learn more about adding new commodity codes to your VIP account, view the  Selecting Commodity Codes  online training.
Check: Your Account Information in VIP
Review your VIP profile information at least once per quarter. Your VIP settings determine how and where you r eceive purchase orders, payments, and even email notifications of business opportunities from the State of Florida.

Use the "I want to" dropdown in VIP and select the "View/Edit" option to update your profile information.
Check: Your Transaction Fee Reports
Verify you've submitted a Transaction Fee Report in VIP for all fee-eligible payments your business received from the State of Florida.

If you notice any missing Transaction Fee Reports, view the Billing and Transaction Fee Job Aid for more information about submitting any necessary reports and paying the transaction fee.
