Paint an Enchanted Journey with James Hayes

We are so beautifully and profoundly entangled with this earth and have the honour of cohabiting with it. We get to watch, in awe, its glimmers that brighten and enrich our journey. To be enchanted by its visual and soul-filled wonders is a blessing. We, as painters, will attempt to interpret and, in the most exciting and humbling ways, with pigment to canvas, recreate and reflect these glimmers of light.

This course, offered by local Artist James Hayes, is open to all levels of experience.

We are Anglican in tradition, ecumenical and interfaith in expression and offer an inclusive welcome and generous hospitality to all.

Our wellbeing is nourished by the land and environment that surrounds us. We acknowledge that the land we share, learn and live on is the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc people. At Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre, we pay tribute to those whose hands have cared for these lands for centuries, exhibiting values of generosity and harmony, values we strive to live into today.
