But more than that, I count everything as loss compared to the priceless privilege and supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord [and of growing more deeply and thoroughly acquainted with Him—a joy unequaled]. For His sake I have lost everything, and I consider it all garbage, so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him [believing and relying on Him], not having any righteousness of my own derived from [my obedience to] the Law and its rituals, but [possessing] that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith (Philippians 3:8-9 AMP).
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this day. I thank You for Your love towards us. Thank You for life and life more abundantly. Thank You for being the God who does all things well. At times, we may not understand the trial, tribulation, or difficult circumstance we may be going through, yet and still its working for our good (Romans 8:28). Thank You, God, for the test that built or is building our testimony. Thank You for changing titles from victim to victor! Thank You, God, that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). God, we thank You because You are faithful even when we are faithless.
The scripture is stating and asking what will we be willing to lose if it means gaining You. Your love for us is priceless. Going through the storm allows us to be pushed closer to You so we can see the rainbow (Genesis 9:16) and promise that You have made us that will come to pass. Help us to believe on You and rely on You desiring to have the most honest and genuine relationship with You, the Creator, who sacrificed everything just for us to be able to love You and know You in the fulness of Your power and glory. When we are weak, You are strong. Thank you, Lord for Your grace, mercy, and love. Thank You for the heart to persevere in the weakest moments. You are our strength and joy. Thank you, Lord, that nothing is too hard for You. Thank You that ALL things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Thank You, Lord, because You never fail. Thank You that You will never leave or forsake us even until the end of this world (Hebrew 13:5, 2 Corinthians 12:10). You are our Father that sees and knows all. You have given us the ability to PUSH through. Allow everyone who reads this feel Your strength and know that You can and will help them through this. We give You praise and glory God, thanking You and declaring the victory is won on every hand, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
