2024 PATH Intl. James Brady Professional Achievement Award and Equestrians of the Year Awards Nominations Open Through May 27th

While nominations for region awards have now closed, there is still time to nominate deserving individuals for four international award categories. There are three equestrian award categories; Adult, Youth and PATH International Equine Services for Heroes® Equestrians of the Year, with one winner selected per category. The same form is used for all three categories and can be found here.


The James Brady Professional Achievement Award is given to a person who has made a significant contribution to the equine-assisted services industry. The nomination form can be found here and the reference forms are here. Completed James Brady Professional Achievement Award nominations and reference forms may be submitted to awards@pathintl.org. These international award nominations close May 27, 2024.

Registration for the June Fundamentals of Equine-Assisted Learning Online Course is Now Open

PATH Intl. is Seeking a Communications & Social Media Marketing Intern for Summer or Fall 2024

PATH Intl. is looking for a highly motivated student who has completed their first year of college, to be a Communications and Social Media Marketing Intern for either the Summer or Fall 2024 semesters. Internship responsibilities include creating a library of branded social media content in Canva; posting to social media; creating a marketing plan to recruit a new generation to the EAS industry; and more. Additional projects and opportunities available dependent upon applicants’ skills and interests.


This is a part-time, unpaid position available to those seeking relevant resume-building experience through volunteer work, or those requiring an internship in exchange for college credit. Hours for this fully remote position are flexible with the ideal candidates able to volunteer 10 hours per week from June 3rd to August 16th 2024, and/or September-December 2024. PATH Intl. Health & Education Advisory Seeks Members

What does the Health and Education Advisory do?

The advisory guides PATH Intl. staff on relevant internal education, new and upcoming research and review of third-party education partner content. Members also help with the review of region and international conference abstracts, consult on health and safety questions brought to PATH Intl. that relate to EAS topics, as well as provide relevant feedback on certain sections of the PATH Intl. Standards for Certification and Accreditation as requested.

Who is an ideal candidate?

Advisory members must be current PATH Intl. members, ideally with experience in one of the following areas:

  • OT/PT/SLP
  • Mental Health Providers
  • Educators & Higher Education Faculty Members
  • Researchers
  • Nurses & Physicians

What is the time commitment?

Meetings are held virtually, once a month, with a typical commitment of an additional hour per month expected outside of meetings. During abstract review periods, advisory members can expect to spend an additional two-seven hours as needed.
