Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This is not just any quarterly letter; this is a letter of appreciation and gratitude. It has been an amazing journey from Jackson Ave in Memphis to Dunlap Orphanage Road in Brighton and it could not have been done without the help of those reading this letter.

First off, to all my staff, maintenance crew, and corporate office thank you for all your hard work and dedication to make this happen. It was amazing to see everyone come together and make something so amazing in such a little amount of time.

I would like to thank Restoration Church, First Baptist of Covington, Gateway Church, Simmons Bank, and Runyon Industries for all the hard work and donations they put in our dorms and property to get it ready for occupancy for our guys. You all did an amazing job with a keen eye for detail.

Finally, I would like to thank Muller Fittings, First Baptist of Covington, Wells Kitchen, Patriot Bank, and Threefold Cord Ministries for everything you did for our clients during this holiday season. From providing meals, singing, serving and gifts you helped put smiles on 74 men’s faces. You helped make this one of the best Christmas celebrations I have been apart of in my time at Safe Harbor.

Thank you all for helping us change the lives of these men!

 We have been watching things come ALIVE in Tipton County as the year of 2021 has ended! From closing-down our old building in Memphis, to moving to our new facility in Tipton County, this has been an EVENTFUL YEAR! 

We have had many new things happen and we are happy to be moving forward! Beside us on our journey have been many corporations/businesses that support us through allowing our guys to come out and work!  

Runyon Industries in Millington, TN is a key to our men’s success in the Reliable Program. Runyon Industries offer’s a competitive wage, friendly work environment, and challenging tasks that keep everyone busy! With almost 10 folks at Runyon Industries, it’s safe to say they are helping US stay busy!

Lastly, we want to give a special thanks to everyone at Runyon for all your charitable contributions for our New Facility in Tipton County. Not only, do you employ our men, but you believe in what we do…. And for that…. We are making YOU our “Partner of the Quarter”! Great job Runyon Industries!

This quarters staff member is Suzanne Green. She has worked her way up from graduating Fresh Start (our women's program) to Admissions Coordinator.

Her hard work and dedication to her job and our clients is an inspiration to us all and recently received Admissions on the year at our corporate Christmas party.

Battle in the Saddle 2022

Battle in the Saddle is right around the corner! We are looking forward to Year #9 of this event. It will once again be held in Memphis, TN at the Agricenter Showplace Arena. This is our largest fundraiser each year that helps to fund so many projects throughout Safe Harbor.

We would love to have you attend if you are able. Come out and watch cowgirls and cowboys from across the US compete!
