From the Founder

One of the value pillars of Dorcas Destiny International is the value of RELATIONSHIP! I confess that initially, you wouldn’t know that because there was little-to-no help from others, and I was literally doing EVERYTHING by myself, BUT now we have committed staff in Kenya and a functioning Board of Directors here in the USA! Woo-hoo! We are closer to figuring it out than

we have ever been!

We are doing a few new things to demonstrate that we do value relationships, and that includes not only this monthly newsletter you’re reading but also reaching out by telephone. Waleed, one of our virtual assistants will be calling and/or emailing you to touch bases, and to say THANK YOU! for your support of Dorcas Destiny International!

Your value to our work is immeasurable, and we want you to know it! Whether you have helped someone go with us to Kenya (or come yourself), you have donated funds, sponsored a child, shared our content, or kept us in prayer, we want you to know that we appreciate you!

If there's anything we can do to make you feel special, let us know! We welcome your input and suggestions! You have an open door to me via email (donna@dorcasdestinyintl.org), phone (800-368-9656 or 708-317-9233), zoom/google meet (reach out to schedule a time), or in person if you are close to me.

Watch out for your phone call or email from Waleed, keep an eye out on social media for our February 2025 trip, get ready to raise funds and go with me in June 2028, share our stories…you know what to do!

Love, hugs, and of course many blessings!

The Seed of Hope Mission Team and The Work of the Ministry Conference in February 2025

When you go on a mission trip with Dorcas Destiny International, you have the opportunity to serve in multiple ways.

Are you ready to make a lasting impact while experiencing the beauty and culture of Kenya? When you join Dorcas Destiny International (DDI) on a mission trip, you’ll have the unique opportunity to serve in multiple ways, touching lives and spreading hope meaningfully.

Seed of Hope – Empowering the Next Generation

The Seed of Hope team will dedicate several days to engaging with the high school students they sponsor, providing mentorship, guidance, and encouragement. These young girls will be inspired through workshops and interactive activities, equipping them with knowledge, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Work of the Ministry Conference – Spreading the Word

Our dedicated team will minister in three Towns in Kenya; Ruiru Nairobi, Siaya, and Opoya to minister the Word of God to pastors and church leaders.

This conference will be a powerful time of teaching, spiritual renewal, and encouragement, empowering leaders to serve their communities with greater impact.

Game Day in Opoya Village – Spreading Joy Through Sports

In Opoya village, we will host a special game day with students, bringing laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. Whether through soccer, fun challenges, or interactive games, this day will celebrate unity, joy, and friendship.

School Visits – Inspiring Young Minds

The mission team will also visit St. Mary’s Kings Academy and Victory School in Baba Dogo, where we’ll spend time engaging with students, sharing stories, and inspiring them to dream big. These visits will create a powerful connection between our team and the young learners that we sponsor, reinforcing the value of education, faith, and perseverance.

Join us on our next trip and make an impact!

If you sponsor a child or youth with other organizations, rarely are you ever invited on a trip to meet that child. With Dorcas Destiny International, you can visit and further impact that child and his or her family. Watch for us on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube in the coming weeks! A Step Forward, With More to Go!

We’re thrilled to share that two children, siblings, have been sponsored for $30 a month by the same sponsor, allowing them to thrive through education! But the journey isn’t over—more deserving children are waiting for sponsors to help them. Will you be the next one to make a difference?
