Hello Week 30. Starting this week I am going to start doing things a little different because lately I have found myself trying to just get these messages done and out to you without actually letting the message absorb into my mind and heart and that is the TRUTH. I know that it is not just me feeling this way and I have found time and and time again that when I tell you what I am going through, what I am struggling with or having a hard time doing, it helps you feel okay that you are having the same issues.
Friends, we are all in this life together and we all have issues, struggles and hard times. When they happen, we must go through them to get through them and then, we MUST share with others to encourage and remind people that we are not alone. This weeks verse is ready for you to read, meditate on, create around and journal about. I printed out the message and then went into my Journaling Bible and write out a little "HEY!" message to myself. Whenever you see my Journaling Bible margins and they have a little "Hey" at the top, that is me talking to me...
Take a look at the photo above. What I did was wrote out a message to me about what to do when I am feeling angry and ended it with a shout out prayer to God to help me control my anger.
Now, I am not the boss of you BUT can I suggest that you write out a little reminder to yourself? It does not have to be in the margin of a Journaling Bible. It can be in your Documented Faith binder, in your planner, on a note card, post it note or even on your forehead so when you look in the mirror you are reminded. (okay, I added that last one to see if you were still reading..)
" Anyone who is patient has great understanding. But anyone who gets angry quickly shows how foolish he is" Proverbs 14:29

If you are getting this for the first time, well hello there! I am so glad you are here! If you are here for the 716th time, well hello to you too! I am glad you are all here (I am pretty sure God is too!)
What do you do now??? well, you can download this weeks little "blah, blah, blah" from me, read the verse, color the printable and pretty much do whatever you want with it. The thing NOT TO DO is worry about the fact that we started on January 1st. START HERE and just start now. Documented Faith starts when YOU start and goes on for the rest of your life. It becomes a very good habit of spending time in the Word.
We continue to grow and have many new friends here and in the Documented Faith Facebook group. I appreciate all of you that welcomes each person. Thank you for helping to make everyone feel welcome. WE MUST continue to be a light in such a sometimes terrible, dark world. With that said, I want to remind everyone that the Documented Faith group is simply to share our art and how we are documenting our faith. We will continue to request that you keep ALL political and religious opinions, statements and beliefs off of the comment threads.
The growth is continuing with the addition of a Documented Faith Instagram page so please consider following share with your friends. While social media has a lot of negative vibes, we can use it for good, for a platform to share, inspire, encourage and document our faith with people all over the world.
