FAMILY CAMPOUT

Friday, October 1st @ 5:30

Location: Bandstand

Who doesn't love a night of camping under the stars with their family on a crisp fall night? Pitch your tent at the bandstand on Friday, and get ready for night fun and relaxation! Campers are welcome to start setting up their tents at 5:30 pm. Come down to enjoy the beautiful nature of Legacy Park, and the outdoor fun for the kids. 

What to bring:

Bring your tents (if you're spending the night)

Food & Drinks

Coolers & Chairs

Flashlights & Insect repellent

Jacket & Family games

Firewood and porta-potties supplied by the HOA

Family S'mores Kits supplied by Primrose Kennesaw North

PUMPKINFEST

Saturday, October 16th from 10 AM- 2 PM.

Location: Bandstand

Put on your favorite Halloween costume, dress up your dog too, and come on down! It’s a day loaded with family fun!

There will be fresh pumpkins to carve.


Hello, pretty Fall scene Christmas card photo! Great photo opportunities await your family in the pumpkin patch.


Shop the vendor booths where local Vendors will have exciting items for sale. It’s never too early to start your holiday shopping!

MOVIE NIGHT

Casper is a kind young ghost who peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine. When specialist James Harvey arrives to communicate with Casper and his fellow spirits, he brings along his teenage daughter, Kat. Casper quickly falls in love with Kat, but their budding relationship is complicated not only by his transparent state but also by his troublemaking apparition uncles and their mischievous antics.

ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF & TAILGATE

Mark your Calendar for

November 6th @ 2 pm

Location: Amphitheater

Entry fee: $5 per family or 5 nonperishable canned goods


DO YOU HAVE THE BEST CHILI?

Teams are forming NOW so get your game plan together.


Chili Cook Team Sign Up


Teams will be reimbursed up to $150 for ingredients and table decorations, so save your receipts.


Team information/responsibilities:

· Provide and serve a minimum of 5 gallons of Chili beginning at 2 pm.

· Maintain appropriate 160 degrees temperature of Chili during the serving period.

· You will need a way to keep the Chili heated (propane burner or chafing dish). We do not have electricity.

· Provide festive table decorations for your serving table. A prize will be awarded for the best-decorated table.

· Other items you will need: Hand Sanitizer (new requirement), Serving Ladle, Potholders, Paper Towels, Chairs, Thermometer.

· Sign displaying your team’s name.

· Optional Items: Cookies, Grated Cheese, Sour Cream, Corn Bread, etc.


Awards: Best Chili, People’s Choice, Best Decorated.
