Good Monday Afternoon!

Christmas is approaching, and it's a great opportunity to contemplate the real significance of the season. We all have our traditions and motivations for observing this holiday, but no matter why you celebrate this time of year, let's take a moment to appreciate the peace, joy, and hope this season brings into our lives.

Senior Job Training Program through SER National

Here are a few requirements for the program:

• If you are 55 and over

• If you are unemployed and have low income

• If you reside in Counties served, Shawnee County is a county they serve

Here are a few benefits of their training program:

• 20 hours per week paid training at $12 per hour, bi-weekly pay

• Title V paid job-training wages will not reduce or change subsided housing or food share benefits

• Supportive Services available to support trainee
