MCC MERIT Continues to Support Your Community
Our MCC MERIT program continues to support our communities by distributing food from the Houston Food Bank anyone who needs it. Volunteers showed up to work from all over town, many from different religious and cultural backgrounds, shining a light on our mission to connect and inspire all people to work together to build a better future.
Vehicles line up for blocks to participate in the Drive Thru.
Alhamdulilah, we have enough food for everyone who comes. If there is any food or supplies left over after operation, we load up rest in a truck and deliver the remnants to religious centers, such as Masjid Tawheed.
Since March of this year, The MCC has fed more than 10,000 people and 2,000 families throughout Houston through this very beneficial program. Many communities who have no other option depend on us to serve every Sunday. If you would like to donate whatever you can to support this and other important community initiatives, please donate to the MCC.
We'd like to thank everyone who has helped the MultiCultural Center to become a beacon of hope for so many in such a short time. We pledge to continue striving to serve our community's needs and to help ensure the health and happiness of every family we touch.
