Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

On July 4th, our nation celebrates its 249th birthday, a time often spent with family and friends. Alongside honoring our country, July is also dedicated to the Most Precious Blood. Catholic families are encouraged to celebrate by honoring both God and country consider praying a family rosary for our nation, its leaders, and its future. As we reflect on our freedoms, let us remember the daily sacrifices made to preserve them.

May God continue to bless the USA!

Please let us know how we can better serve you and your parish as we carry out our mission of evangelization, helping parishes bring people to an encounter with Christ and a deeper appreciation of the Catholic faith. (Contact us at family@diocesepb.org)

May God's Mercy and Peace be with you and your family,

Cathy, Deacon Louie, Maria, Liliana, Andy,

Cindy, Rosario, and Beth.

The countdown has begun! As we take a break from routines and homework, I don’t want us to take a break from our Faith. So, as I sift through camp brochures and swim lesson schedules, I wonder how to weave our Catholic Faith into our summer plans.

Pray along with us

Praying with videos is a way some individuals choose to engage in prayer, using pre-recorded videos of prayers or guided meditations as a tool to connect with the divine. This practice can be particularly helpful for those who are new to prayer, find it difficult to formulate their own prayers, or seek inspiration and guidance. Here are two that may spark your interest for the month of July.

What Must I Do?

The Sacrament of Reconciliation and Teens

Summertime is a great time to develop a new routine in your teen's spiritual life. When teenagers participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, they come face to face with the mystery of God’s love. The Sacrament helps them to grasp that they are responsible for their lives, for how they think and act. Below is a guide to help them understand the process of looking at their thoughts, words, and actions since their last confession.

NFP Week is coming!

Celebrate God's Gifts of Love

and Life in Marriage

The dates (July 20-26, 2025) of Natural Family Planning Awareness Week highlight the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love, and responsible parenthood. The dates also mark the feast of Saints Joachim and Anne (July 26), the parents of the Blessed Mother.

National Bereaved Parents Awareness Month is observed in July and is dedicated to recognizing and supporting parents who have lost a child. It's a time to raise awareness about the unique challenges and grief faced by these parents, and to offer them resources, community, and hope. Let us lift our prayers for these families; may they find comfort in our Lord.

For Young Adults... Events and Resources

Visit our Diocese of Palm Beach Events page for upcoming local events, Holy Hours, and masses. On this page, you will find submitted events occurring in the five counties of the Diocese of Palm Beach. Events listed are hosted by a diocesan ministry or office, a school, or a parish. This is a good resource for finding fellowship or special activities.

“For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one. So, they are no longer two but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”

Mark 10:7-9
