Lumber & construction costs are on the rise. During the pandemic not only did the demand increase as folks who were staying home worked on home improvement projects, but at the same time some lumber mills were forced to close or decrease staff, which in turn decreased supply. In addition to the Walk, Safe Berks will have their 15th Annual Celebration of Peace June 19th as well, from 9-10:30 am. Tickets for this event are $75. According to Safe Berks, having a morning event will align with their message to survivors that "each day is a fresh start." Our very own Ann Moll & her husband Don are serving as hosts for the event. We proudly support SafeBerks.
