Welcome to the Team Kristi Hoskinson!
We are excited to announce Kristi Hoskinson as the new Vice President of CareerEdge. With over 20 years of experience, Kristi brings a diverse professional background to the Chamber including entrepreneurship, human resources, training and development, corporate wellness and various community leadership roles.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health from Eastern Oregon University. She also holds a senior certified professional (SCP) designation for the society of human resources management (SHRM) and a long-standing, proud member of SHRA – Sarasota/ Manatee’s local SHRM chapter. In her new role with the Chamber, she will lead the CareerEdge team partnering with employers in workforce development initiatives.

Join us as Jeff LaHurd takes us back in time in exploring the history of downtown Sarasota. Jeff LaHurd is a county-wide historian and a prolific author on the history of the city & county he loves!

Local author/historian Jeff LaHurd has lived in Sarasota since 1950, and has written 17 books about the history of the community plus numerous articles which have appeared in The Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Style Magazine, SARASOTA Magazine, SRQ, and The Downtowner. He has given numerous lectures on the history of Sarasota, and is a sought after speaker.
