One team. One community.

One warm welcome to fall.

🌟 A Note from the Executive Director

Dear Members, Friends, and Volunteers,

September always feels like a season of fresh beginnings, the air turns crisp, routines return, and new opportunities unfold. This September is especially meaningful for me personally, as it marks my one-year anniversary serving as your Executive Director here at the Centre.

Looking back on the past year fills me with gratitude for your warm welcome, the laughter we’ve shared, and the resilience and generosity that shine in this community every single day. Together, we’ve hosted celebrations, grown new programs, welcomed new members and volunteers, and begun exciting plans for our 50th Anniversary in January 2026.

As we step into a new season, I look forward to all the ways we’ll continue to build connection, joy, and belonging, one smile, one program, one conversation at a time.

We’ve got a busy and exciting season ahead, from new classes to familiar favourites, special workshops to social gatherings.

I hope you’ll join us, bring a friend, and keep making the Centre a place where we feel at home together.

Thank you for making this past year so meaningful. I’m excited for all that lies ahead and honoured to walk this journey with you.

With gratitude,

Jenny Zee Majzoub
