The Origins of Cosolargy
Quotes from Gene Savoy, Sr.
"For some four days, The Child [,Jamil,] had abstained from food. No force could make him eat, save some raw, green peas and a few grains of rice. He seemed to draw some form of nourishment from the earth itself, from the sky, the sun, and the few handfuls of water that he allowed to pass over his lips. Yet something more sustained him.
"The Child was slowly withdrawing from the material world into another dimension of existence. Nevertheless, his was not the state of the ascetic who meditates within himself, leaving his body lifeless and unable to speak. Indeed, The Child's form and being were very much alive and full of vitality.
"And so The Child strolled peacefully along, neither sad nor joyful, seemingly caught up in a heavenly reverie of his own making. Every part of him mirrored a veiled understanding of tolerance and love. He was at oneness with all the living things of the universe, at peace with God.
"At one point, the father approached him, but The Child placed his finger to his lips as if to silence him. He gave the impression of a bearded prophet, the recipient of supernatural knowledge. After some time, The Child lifted his eyes from his downward glance and looked into the sun: fused with the center of the universe, his whole being underwent an alteration.
"A golden halo surrounded his head, and Jamil's body shone like a flame. As matter became spirit, The Child was radiant beyond description. And all the living things and the birds in the trees rejoiced, singing a hymn to The Child for they wished to participate in his Living Communion."
