NRCS Funding Opportunities

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Arkansas announced two additional sign-ups through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program’s (EQIP) Small Farm and Urban Agriculture Initiative and the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP).

Northwest Arkansas


Join the Center for Arkansas Farms and Food at their farm for a Growers School on Pack Shed Design and Food Safety on June 11th, 2023, from 1:30-4:30pm in Fayetteville! Speakers, including our team's Gaby Sanders, will cover topics such as efficient pack shed design, processing equipment, post-harvest handling, food safety, and record keeping.

Join the Arkansas Blackberry Growers Association at the fruit research station in Clarksville on June 13, 2023,from 1:00-5:00pm for a blackberry field day!


This event is open to everyone! Participants will have the chance to taste-test some Arkansas varieties and tour the research station! There will also be an opportunity for particpants to join the association if they are interested in becoming a member.
