Letter from our Director - Paul Garner

Greeting from Safe Harbor of Erin!

I hope this letter finds everyone reading it as blessed as we are here in Erin.

This has been a very busy and fulfilling quarter. It is amazing to see the community support we have behind us. There were so many that supported us financially, physically, and spiritually. It would be impossible to name them all! Thank you! Because of each and everyone of you we were able to provide the guys we serve fishing equipment with multiple fishing outings, bowling trips, inspiring pictures for room décor, and new tables and chairs for our dining and chapel needs.

We also had an amazing time with the community at our 2nd annual fireworks show hosted here on the 3rd of July. Thank you for all those that helped that happen and the many in attendance!

We are looking forward to inviting everyone out for our grand opening of our new multi-purpose building which will include a new industrial kitchen and chapel/dinning area. If you are interested in attending please keep an eye on our Facebook page for a future date!

Celebrating Success

Graduation is a time to celebrate success and reflect on the journey that brought them to this moment. Each graduate's story is unique, filled with challenges overcome, lessons learned, and personal growth achieved. As we honor these accomplishments, it is essential to recognize the effort and determination that have led to this point.

The path to graduation is often fraught with obstacles, from rigorous demands to personal struggles. Overcoming these challenges requires resilience and a support system of friends, family, and mentors who provide encouragement and guidance along the way. Reflecting on these experiences highlights the strength and tenacity that each graduate possesses, qualities that will undoubtedly serve them well in their future endeavors.

As we celebrate this achievement, it is also an opportunity to look forward to the future with optimism and ambition. Graduation is not just an end but a new beginning, opening doors to exciting opportunities, and personal growth. It is a time to set new goals and pursue dreams with the confidence that comes from knowing you have already accomplished something so significant. Congratulations to all graduates—your hard work has paid off, and the future is bright with possibilities.

Having a Servant's Heart

A servant's heart is a concept deeply rooted in faith, encompassing the virtues of humility, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to serving others. At its core, having a servant's heart means putting the needs and well-being of others before your own, driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those around you.

What a blessing to see some of our clients leading worship, along with Chaplain Rossi, at the Garden Church this Sunday. Chaplain Rossi also brought a great Word for us as well.

Revival in Erin

Weekend Fishing Trips are good for R&R!

A big thank you to Country Fireworks on Madison street in Clarksville for the great deal on fireworks!

Our 4th of July celebration was a blast!

Baptisms

During the 2nd Quarter 20 men were baptized in Erin. We celebrated the beginning of a new chapter for these clients, as they publicly professed their faith through baptism.

We are so excited to watch their new life in Christ!

Client of the Quarter

"I came into Safe Harbor lost with myself. When I got here I applied all the classes that was offered and took in eveything they offered. Since April 4th, 2024 I came along way. I have learned to put God first in my life and He has opened doors for me that was never open. I have built relationships back with my family and kids. I have graduated IOP. God has answered my prayers since I have been here. My mom is sick and called hospice in so I prayed hard for 2 days and went and prayed with both Chaplains and the director. I made a phone call after that to my sister and they have called hospice off. God is GOOD and if He will do it for me He will do it for you! I am far from being where I need to be but I am going to get there, Safe Harbor is helping me. The staff is amazing. I am where I need to be!" - J.P.

Staff of the Quarter Matthew Ellis

This quarter's staff spotlight goes to Matthew Ellis.

Mr. Ellis graduated the program over 5 years ago and recently returned to work for us as our Reliable Coordinator. He teaches classes, mentors, and leads his department with hard work and dedication.

There is no one that is more dedicated in seeing our clients succeed. It has been a true honor to work Mr. Ellis.

Partner of the Quarter -Hankook Battery

Hankook Battery decided to take a leap of faith with us. They had never used a program like ours before and wanted to give our clients an opportunity to be successful. In the last quarter they have employed over 20 clients and now have a consistent 20 clients at their plant.

They are a true blessing to Safe Harbor of Erin and all the clients that have an opportunity to work there.
