Dog Days of Summer

Summer isn't over friends just yet! Although school bells will soon ring, and our college students return - summer's last songs, colors, and smells are still here. We are a great spot to have a picnic while watching planes, birds, butterflies and more. Our Palmer Pond Pails are available to explore creatures great and small at the waters edge. Binoculars, guides, and nets in our Allagash Packs provide a fun trailside adventure. In our library, visit our bees in our indoor observation hive as they prepare for the season to change. Finally, look for our new Get Outside Education Series (for Grown-Ups) with our Education Horticulturist beginning September 20th. Catch the last days of summer with us. See you soon.

Sincerely,

Thanks for a Great

Summer Camp Season!

Birds, Bugs, and STEM...oh my!

Family campers at WPNR had the chance to get out in the field with experts, test their brains with structural challenges, compete in Olympic-style events, study live birds and bugs up close, and more during our Bird, Bug, and STEM Summer Family Camps! It was great to see moms, dads, siblings, cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles working and learning together in nature! See you next year for Summer Camp 2025!
