Hello from the Bariatric Counseling Center (BCC) of San Antonio!

We hope this email finds you well and enjoying the Texas fall weather! Just as the year is winding down and will begin anew in 2023, so too are many insurance plans. We have found that this is an ideal time of year for clients to join the Intensive Outpatient Program because

often ALL program costs will be covered by insurance

before deductibles reset. If you've been waiting to make the move and take control of your health, October is the time to get started.

We are officially in-network with TriCare!

The Bariatric Counseling Center's Intensive Outpatient Program is the only one of its kind that is covered by most insurance plans.

We anticipate becoming in-network with

Community First (HMO, Family Care and

Community Care plans) this month.

About the BCC

The BCC offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) exclusively designed to help people struggling with over-eating, emotional eating and their relationship with food. The IOP offers group and individual behavioral therapy, dietary guidance, culinary instruction, mindful eating and physical activity education in an integrated multidisciplinary format. The program empowers and enables individuals to understand and change their relationship with food and movement - for the long-term! Tools are provided to achieve sustained change and improved health, weight and quality of life.

The beautiful, welcoming environment houses a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen and is staffed by a compassionate team of healthcare professionals. Our psychologists, dietitians, counselors, physical therapists, nurses and chefs are dedicated to making the journey toward a healthier lifestyle a successful one.

Our team will work with you to customize a schedule that works with your calendar and programming is offered both on-site and virtually.
