As precautions and concerns continue to grow regarding the COVID-19 virus we wanted to touch base with you.
Everyday, each member of our staff is diligent in proper sanitation practices. From wiping down door knobs to washing hands everytime we touch a guests plate to cleaning tables with sanitizer to sending any staff home who may be sick and so much more that we practice all year long. Please note that the COVID-19 virus is not a food-borne illness.
We have received guidelines from the California Restaurant Association, California Boutique and Breakfast Inns and California Hotel and Lodging Association regarding procedures to protect our guests, staff and vendors. We are happy to say that we were already in compliance with the guidelines.
While we don't take this situation lightly we do think that you should enjoy life and not live in fear. Come join us for a delicious meal shared with friends and loved ones. Escape to Amador for a beautiful spring in bloom. Enjoy our wide open spaces and smiling faces. While we will abstain from hugs and handshakes our hospitality will remain committed to the highest standards.
On behalf of all the fifty-four staff members at Taste, Rest and the Union we look forward to seeing you soon.
With warm regards and great appreciation for your continued support,
Mark and Tracey Berkner, Founders B&E Hospitality Group
