The AIA Michigan Fellows Committee is looking for recommendations of candidates for Fellowship . Fellowship is one of the highest honors the AIA can bestow upon a member. Elevation to Fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual but also elevates before the public and the profession those architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and to society. The Fellowship Committee is asking every chapter in the State to recommend those members they feel could be a candidate for recognition. Please contact Evelyn Dougherty   with your r ecommendations for her to forward to the Fellows Committee.
The Michigan Architectural Foundation is in the process of launching a new website highlighting Michigan Architecture and how it connects people and influences our quality of life. To illustrate this concept, a special kind of photograph is required, one that illustrates the unique juxtaposition of people and space, both interior and exterior. Traditional architectural photography has either left out human beings or does not capture a unique and memorable moment. If you have any photos that you would like us to consider, please contact or forward to; Kirk Delzer, AIA. Photos must be landscape format and a minimum width of 1920 pix @72 dpi.
