Another opportunity to shape young performing artists in Dallas!
Greetings!

My name is Fran Jeffery Anderson. I am the Artistic and Managing Director for ArtsVision Performing and Visual Arts, a non-profit child centered fine arts program focusing on school aged youth in the DFW area. We have been offering high quality performing and visual arts experiences to youth and their families for over six years in the central, Downtown Dallas Area. We usually operate out of the campuses of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and St. Paul United Methodist Church. We also provide outreach programs to Trinity River Mission youth in West Dallas.

The Mission of ArtsVision Performing and Visual Arts is to provide Dallas area youth an intensive, innovative and well-rounded program that focuses on the arts for youth. We do this all while helping youth build self-esteem, confidence, and inspire youth to find their creative voice.

With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic , we have lost the use of DISD and church facilities and funding has been limited. For this reason, we thought we would have to cancel our programs for this summer, but the parents have registered their children and our dedicated staff and and volunteers have not given up on programing for our youth this summer. Staff and teaching artists have worked hard to transition ArtsVision over to a virtual platform . And, we can claim success! We have structured a program that youth are be excited to participate in. We hope donors will be excited about supporting, as well.

Since we have not heard from our regular sponsors, we have decided to get out and see what we can do to garner sponsorships and donations for this year's programs. Programs include the Summer Online Musical Theater Camp (presenting The Wiz, Jr. ) and P re-camp Saturday Kids Workshops. Saturday Workshops are open and FREE to all youth in the community. To this end, we are asking for your help.

We are requesting donations for our summer youth programs:
  • $50 Sponsor Creative Arts Buckets (Activity Kits going to homes. 50 needed)
  • $200 Sponsor a Kid for camp
  • $500 Sponsor a program (Guitar, Voice, Acting, Dance, Design/Tech)
  • $1,000 Production Sponsor for "The Wiz, Jr."
  • $5,000 Camp Sponsor

Sponsorship/Donor Benefits include:
  • Free tickets to the online (and our next in-person) performances
  • Your logo and link on our website
  • Your logo and link on our program/playbill for the production
  • Your name/logo on our t-shirts
  • Bucket sponsors will have stickers on their buckets

We have 50 youth registered for camp as of June 2nd. A donation in any amount would be appreciated.

Method of program delivery: This summer's program will be a hybrid program through the utilization of in-person, online, and remote learning mediums of instruction. Arts experiences and activities are provided through education, mentor-ship, and training by professional teaching artists and workshop presenters.
