REFUGEE SOLIDARITY EVENT IN SF OCT. 27
Rainbow World Fund board member and First Lady  Karen Kai is heading to the Mexican border  in a couple weeks!

Karen will be meeting with border activists who are helping refugees on both sides of the Mexican border.  She will be making arrangements to  bring the Rainbow Bus down to the border with humanitarian supplies  in 2020.

She also will participate in a ceremony to honor the Japanese-Americans who were interned in Texas during WWII.

We are hosting a   kick-off party for Karen’s trip this Sunday, October 27 from 4-7pm   to raise funds to  fill hundreds of backpacks with humanitarian supplies, for the littlest asylum-seeking migrants — the children,  that Karen will deliver on this trip.

Be a Border Angel and help us fill those backpacks!   Join us for hors d’oeuvres, a hosted bar, and silent auction at Gough House, a beautiful 1889 Victorian mansion.

Time:  Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4-7pm
Location:  2004 Gough Street, San Francisco, CA

Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased here .

Can’t come, but want to help?   Please make a donation , select “ Refugee Assistance ” when asked.

DECORATE THE WORLD TREE OF HOPE DEC. 2-8
We are seeking volunteers to help decorate the  RWF World Tree of Hope  at San Francisco's beautiful Grace Cathedral. We create the tree each year as a symbol of global unity to promote peace, love and humanitarianism.

The tree is covered with origami cranes that are inscribed with people's wishes for the future. The wishes are sent to us online or by mail. They are printed, folded into a crane and placed on the tree.

Volunteer! We can accommodate individuals and groups of volunteers! To volunteer you must register.  For more information and to register please click here.
