It is time for the annual Matthews Walkathon, our biggest fundraiser of the year! The best part about this fundraiser is that you do not have to pay anything. Matthews Auto will donate $10 per mile walked to Things of My Very Own. To make things even better, you can walk virtually from anywhere. It is based on the honor system.

We are not asking you to donate, do any fundraising, or even leave your neighborhood. You can walk wherever you live! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REGISTER, tell them how many miles you anticipate walking, choose your charity, and WALK! If you will be walking around the grocery store, that counts. Chasing your toddler around the yard? That counts too. If you sign up to walk three miles, we will receive $30. If you sign up for ten miles, we will receive $100! Regardless of how much you choose to walk, every mile gets us closer to our goal.

The walk will take place on Saturday, October 5th so wherever you plan on walking, register and choose Things of My Very Own as your charity. Your support will help children impacted by crises. Below is the link to register.
