Carnegie Hill Neighbors proudly maintains the Park Avenue malls from 87th to 97th Street, caring for the lawns and flower beds with regular watering, weeding, soil conditioning, and repairs to signage and railings. We also coordinate seasonal plantings—most famously, the tulips each spring.

Summer Streets Return This August!

August 9th, and 16th.

Get ready to pump up your bike tires and lace up your sneakers this August, when the Department of Transportation’s Summer Streets program returns for three Saturdays of car-free fun across Manhattan.


Park Avenue and other streets from the Brooklyn Bridge to Inwood — including through Lenox Hill and Carnegie Hill to 110th Street in East Harlem — will be open to pedestrians and cyclists.


To encourage bike riding, Citi Bike is offering free 24-hour day passes to non-members on Summer Streets days through its app using the promo code LYFTSUMMER25.
