The City of Long Beach needs your help determining new zoning regulations along the Anaheim Street and Pacific Coast Highway commercial corridors and adjacent neighborhoods!

The rezoning effort, which is in its third and final phase, will update zoning regulations to support the development of new housing and a greater mix of uses to create a more livable and sustainable community where residents, businesses, jobs and retail are located within close proximity with a more pedestrian-friendly design.

Known as Zone In: City Core, this zoning update is anticipated to facilitate more than 3,000 market-rate and affordable housing units in the area. The effort will also improve the quality and safety of streets through strategic design and encourage the use of multimodal transportation.

Participate in two upcoming meetings and help shape the future of the City Core area!
