What a Year for ICA-Art Conservation!
2022 was a momentous year for ICA. For only the second time in its 70-year history, ICA moved to a new home: a custom-designed, 8,055 square foot laboratory in the cultural flagship development, The Pivot Center for Art, Dance and Expression. The location offers many advantages including a dedicated parking lot, a welcoming public lobby, ADA-compliance, a large, enclosed loading dock, a custom lift for oversized objects, and 30% more conservation laboratory space. ICA is excited to be part of a dynamic arts and social service community in the Pivot Center that enhances our capacity to reach new audiences, to deliver core conservation and preservation services, and to offer impactful educational programs.
ICA's founding and enduring purpose is twofold--to provide the best conservation care for irreplaceable art and material culture in service of the community and to offer conservation and preservation information to people of all ages and backgrounds.
We invite you to come visit our new home and to join us in shaping the next era of service for ICA-Art Conservation!
