Make your mark on the
LitUp Festival Teen Advisory Board
LitUp Festival is coming to Knoxville! Started by a high schooler in Kansas City, LitUp is all about honoring great books and art for and by teens. Imagine author talks, workshops, and fun activities designed by YOU.

We believe you have what it takes to help make Knoxville's first LitUp Festival great. Make your mark on the LitUp Festival Teen Advisory Board . Our first meeting is Saturday, February 2nd, 1-3pm at Lawson McGhee Library . We'll be organizing, brainstorming, and mobilizing so get ready for a very energetic meeting.

Feel free to email me any questions about the board or the festival.

Meet LitUp's Founder
Here's to teens doing incredible things! Emery decided she wanted to design a festival specifically for teen readers in her hometown. She partnered with Mid-Continent Public Library to make LitUp Festival happen. Together they enlisted the help of readers, authors, sponsors, community and organizations. She even got to meet Librarian of Congress, Dr. Carla Hayden!
