Looking for a new community outreach project? Adopt or sponsor a stretch of highway, road, or street. Typically, adoption means your organization volunteers to pick up trash, while sponsorship covers the cost of regular pickup. Contact your state department of transportation or local municipality for options available in your area.

Bike-Friendly Retailers Support Local Cycling
Retailers are all about four-wheeled adventure, but many also support life on two wheels. Bikes are a big thing at Adventure Subaru, a retailer that supports local biking trails and events and encourages employees to bike to work. Patriot Subaru offers loaner bikes to service customers. There’s also Mitchell Subaru, part of Mitchell Auto Group, the first auto dealer to earn the League of American Bicyclists’ gold bicycle-friendly business rating.
