Empower Students to Succeed this School Year!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

St. Joseph Center's Back-to-School Kick-Off is off to a great start! Whether you chip in $50 or $500, you can still help our goal. Due to inflation and rising food costs, students and their families rely on us more than ever to make ends meet.

If you have already donated, THANK YOU for your generosity! We could not do this work without you. See your impact in action–meet Heaven and her mother, Rebba.

Children Succeeding is Heaven on Earth

Heaven is a straight-A student at the top of her class in the chess club. Her mother, Rebba, reflected on their struggle to make ends meet but stayed hopeful while living on the streets. When asked why she said yes to getting help through St. Joseph Center, Rebba replied, "They were the first to reach out to me, and they fulfilled the need at that moment." Rebba shared that she named her daughter Heaven because she was a "Gift from God." When we met Heaven, she was excited to pick up her new pink backpack, which had been filled with school supplies.

Please click to donate before our Back-to-School campaign deadline of September 6 to make sure that children like Heaven succeed in school this year—despite their challenges.
