Help Me Grow WA Network Updates

The Help Me Grow Washington Network is made up of organizations and local champions for healthy child development and, along with support from the Help Me Grow Washington state affiliate, WithinReach, are responsible for the implementation of Help Me Grow locally.

Help Me Grow Island County

We are very excited to announce the launch of our new Help Me Grow Island County Online Resource Directory! This customized tool helps families and providers in our unique Island County communities find local resources by a child’s age or by type of program or service. This project has been such a labor of collaboration between Help Me Grow Island County, Help Me Grow WA, and a local consultant. We are very excited to be able to offer this resource!

Help Me Grow King County

We are excited to introduce you to the Help Me Grow King County Team! We are so grateful for their leadership, partnership, and collaboration within the Help Me Grow WA network!

Whatcom County

We’re excited to share that, in partnership with Help Me Grow WA, Whatcom Early Learning Alliance, Single Entry Access to Services (SEAS), and Child Care Aware of NW Washington, we are creating early learning provider bags to strengthen connections and support our local early learning community. Each bag will include resources, materials, and information about SEAS, along with tools to promote greater inclusion. Our hope is that these bags will be both practical and a symbol of appreciation for the vital work providers do every day. We look forward to distributing the bags soon and celebrating the collaboration that makes this effort possible!

Help Me Grow Skagit

In Skagit, the summer was full of outreach opportunities! The pictures below are from Concrete Youth Activity Day, where the Help Me Grow Skagit team and the Children's Museum spent the day interacting with families and sharing information about our local system. In addition to our outreach work, three members of our Help Me Grow Skagit team learned how to fit bike helmets as part of our HMG safety offerings!

Help Me Grow Central WA

In August, we hosted a special in-person Home Visiting Collaborative meeting that was combined with our Investing in Children Coalition gathering. The joint session created space for rich discussion, collaboration, and networking among partners across the region. Participants appreciated the opportunity to connect face-to-face, share program updates, and engage in meaningful conversations about supporting families and home visitors in Central Washington.
