April is recognized nationally as Child Abuse Prevention Month and Month of the Young Child. It is a time to lift up the people and places in your community that celebrate the importance of children and their families. Study findings show that referrals to Help Me Grow and subsequent linkages to community-based programs and services enhance protective factors to promote well-being and prevent child abuse. Learn more about these protective factors on the Department of Children, Youth, and Families website.
