Homeowner Support Members Needed
Become a Mentor Today!
Habitat Cabarrus would love for you to be a mentor and help a future homeowner through the sometimes overwhelming process of attaining their goal of homeownership. At times love needs a helping hand and sometimes all it takes is a little encouragement to build confidence!  We have seen first-hand that working through the Habitat Cabarrus homeownership program empowers the family to begin their journey of upward social mobility and financial independence.

A one-on-one relationship is an extremely effective model of support for future homeowners and the relationship can be a rewarding experience for both the committee member and the future homeowner.

We want to help our homeowners navigate the waters of budgeting and money management to help them start their homeownership on the right foot with financial success. Are you a thrifty shopper and savvy saver? Pass your wisdom on to our future homeowners and help them save, grow and plan for a better life. Contact our Homeowner Services Coordinator, Tiffany Brown for more information!

We're looking for someone to repair or touch up furniture and other items that are slightly damaged.

Customer Service Volunteers
Assist customers by helping them find items in the store, measure items if necessary, and carry items to their vehicles.

Merchandising Volunteer
Arrange merchandise displays in creative ways so that they are attractive to shoppers.
Help Us Capture Important Moments
Are you a photo or video enthusiast with some extra time on your hands? We are seeking volunteers who can help us take photos at our events and can create short videos. No fancy camera needed!

We want to make sure we never miss an important moment or memory. Help us tell our story and spread the word about our good work in Cabarrus County. If you or someone you know would be interested in helping with photos or videos, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kippi Laws!
Expert Lawn Care Volunteers Needed
We are looking for an expert Lawn Care Volunteer to work with Tiffany Brown, Family Services Coordinator, to teach a lawn care class for our Partner Families this fall.  This would be a one time evening class for about an hour or so, but we would like to continue the relationship with the potential volunteer for future families as well.

If you're interested, please contact Tiffany for more info!
Join Us for Women Build
Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity program that empowers women to fully participate in the construction process. What began in 1991 as a single Habitat house built by a team of women quickly became an international movement. Women Build volunteers and fundraisers from all walks of life come together to build stronger, safer communities.

The construction for the Habitat Cabarrus Women Build home is scheduled to begin in early August 2018.

Stay tuned for more updates!
