Your ideas about the future of Robin Hood Park are important as we plan for park improvements.
The City has hired Dubois & King, Inc. to provide a community engagement process and create proposals for the upcoming Capital Improvement Program (presently scheduled in 2027). This will help determine the future needs of Robin Hood Park. The tennis courts and playground building (which originally served as a maintenance facility) were built in the early 1950s. The pool was built in 1963, and the playground was donated in 2002. The infrastructure has served its useful life.
Your ideas and concepts for the future of Robin Hood Park are essential to the success of the project. Community collaboration in the concept and design phase will strengthen the connection between the neighborhood and the park. The project also provides a key opportunity to consider sustainability and climate resiliency best practices that impact the long-term use of the park.
Join City staff and Dubois & King team members on Tuesday, July 18, at 6:00 pm under the Robin Hood pavilion for a conversation about the future of the park. All ages are welcome to this interactive session which will allow community members to be creative and shape next steps.
