I became a Georgia Senator 8 years ago to be apart of the solution in this great State, and it has been one of my greatest joys serving alongside my colleagues as we continue to make Georgia the #1 place to do business. As a Chairman of Economic Development & Tourism, I have the ability to see first hand how important a strong, transparent, and vibrant Department of Labor is to a growing economy. That is why I am willing to forego seeking re-election in my District and seek to become the next Georgia Labor Commissioner.
