Christmas at Chingele Children's Home — Help Us Make It Beautiful

Christmas at our children's home is always pure joy—overflowing, contagious, unforgettable joy. It's the most anticipated day of the entire year. Many of our children have walked through unbelievable hardship and lived through situations far beyond their years, but they are safe with us now. And at Christmastime, they find gratitude and excitement just simply getting to be kids—laughing, dancing, and celebrating the birth of Jesus together. They enjoy a feast with all of the trimmings, receive new play and dress clothes, new shoes and undergarments, and a special gift chosen just for them. There are fun games, spirited competitions, songs sung at the top of their lungs, and yes, a dance-off that brings cheers and smiles to every face.

This celebration is only possible because of generous hearts like yours. We need to raise $7,000 to provide this full Christmas experience for our 36 children—their most cherished day of the entire year.

Education and Lunch for Literacy at Child Legacy Primary

In rural Malawi, education changes everything. Meet Karen (age 10) and Tahira (age 11)—two bright, determined students at Child Legacy Primary School whose dreams are growing as quickly as they are.

Named after Co-Founder, Karen Rogers, Karen was the very first baby born at our hospital in 2015. Today, she walks into her classroom with confidence, dreaming of becoming a nurse… or maybe even a pilot who can one day see the world. Tahira dreams of being a doctor and becoming a leader in his community. Both students show what is possible when a child is given the chance to learn.

We're thrilled to share that our Lunch for Literacy program is now providing our students with a nutritious, high-protein porridge—warm and filling every school day. For many of our students, this is the most dependable meal they receive.

Because of this program:

Children can focus in class rather than be distracted by hunger
Attendance is improving
Energy levels and participation are rising
Teachers are reporting better concentration and enthusiasm
