GETTING TO NAME THIS GUY IS A REAL TREAT!
HELP US GIVE ANDY A NEW NAME!
I NEED A NEW NAME!
An Important Message from Andy

"Over the last week, my dear human friends, the ICAN volunteers, submitted names to be entered into a drawing to give me a new name! Finally, we have the final three, and now I need your help!

Every $10 vote towards your favorite name gets me (the cutie above and to your left) one step closer to my new name! ICAN is using this competition as a great way to share its mission with loved ones.

And bark this! Proceeds from this competition will support building a new fenced-in dog run at the new ICAN office to provide a safe outdoor space for me and my dog buddies- who are in service dog training, like me, to have a place to run!

The more you vote, the more money we will raise! So please share this with your dog lovers, cat lovers, cousins, aunts, uncles, neighbors, co-workers, and YOUR dogs to get the barking started on getting the word out so I can get LOTS of votes to name me!"

Name Choices: Pete, Ikon, and Walker
You can learn more about the meaning behind these names at Pete, Ikon, Walker!

The deadline to vote is Monday, August 9 at 11:59 pm. The winning name will be announced on August 10!

What is Wine & Wags?
For those new to Wine & Wags, since 2002, ICAN has brought together dogs, offenders, and people living with disabilities to provide hope for more enriched and independent living.
To support ICAN’s irresistible mission, Wine and Wags has become the organization’s premier fundraiser. All net proceeds will support the upcoming year’s operations and programming.

Wine & Wags is an after-work program that provides individuals and businesses the opportunity to learn more about Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN). There is no cost to attend the program. Instead, money is raised through an ‘ask’ at the end of the program.

The evening takes place at the beautifully restored Biltwell Event Center. It begins with Hoaglin Catering and Santorini’s Greek Kitchen appetizers, along with complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks. Next, you will have the opportunity to meet many of ICAN's dogs and pups in training, purchase a copy of our 2022 ICAN calendar, and meeting ICAN staff, board members, and volunteers. We will then have a 75-minute program with testimonials given by ICAN clients, former inmate handlers, and community members. The evening is inspirational!

We look forward to seeing you!
