REMINDER: Take the Mount Vernon Master Plan Survey Today!
For decades, the Mount Vernon Governmental Center, Fire Station, Police Station and Library at Sherwood Hall and Parkers Lane have been essential facilities in the Mount Vernon District. Within the next few years these buildings will be up for County renewal and we’re exploring how to revitalize the site with improved facilities and added community amenities that reflect what is important to you. Fairfax County is in the early stages of studying what the options and opportunities are for the future of this site, including potential facility co-location. Your feedback will help directly shape the future design, services and amenities of the Mount Vernon Governmental Center. Learn more.
